Mariia studied at UWC Changshu, China, from 2018 to 2020.

Currently, she is pursuing her bachelor's degree in Economics at Middlebury College. Mariia's interest lies at the intersection of economics, finance, and international politics. She plans to start her postgraduate career in investment management to foster sustainable development.

Mariia joined UWC Ukraine National Committee in 2020, right after her graduation. The idea to launch UWC Short Course Program in Ukraine came to Mariia when she was in UWC CSC, where the program was well developed. Mariia saw it as an opportunity to introduce more Ukrainians to UWC ideals and values. In her third year as a UWC Ukraine Short Course Program Coordinator, Mariia plans to strengthen the partnership she developed over the past two years with Erasmus+ and grow the Ukrainian UWC Short Course community and alumni network.
